Specialist Workshop - Athletic and Kinesiology Taping
To introduce the principles of Athletic & Kinesiology Taping Methods and the strapping products used in sports injury management.
Students will be able to successfully tape and strap body parts using elasticated and non elasticated taping products. They will also be able to successfully immobilize a body part using taping and strapping products.
Kinesiology Taping Methods will be introduced and it's use in restricting and supporting muscle function by creating a lifting effect of the epidermis, will be explained, discussed and demonstrated.
